Today is set to be a heatwave here on the south coast of the UK and I had all intentions to be outside gardening from early this morning and soaking up the rays but this morning has started off cloudy and so I have taken this opportunity to sit outside and slowly write this post whilst amongst nature and working at a slower pace whilst enjoying my morning coffee.  This is the first in what I feel like will be many instalments of reviews for the many different   Beauty Pie products I either already have or have saved in my basket ready to purchase or that I have already bought and a currently trying.  I have always been a huge lover of skincare and when I turned thirty, which was now three years ago I really noticed a huge difference in the natural radiance and quality of my skin and I knew it was time to ramp up my skincare routine. O...

Money Saving Tips - June 2022

Image
Welcome back everyone!  I am here today with another instalment of my practical money saving tips and advice to hopefully help you all save some pennies at a time that seems like it is affecting everyone. Please do let me know if any of these have helped you if you try them or if you do them already. Please also feel free to use the comments section as a place to speak to each other and share your own money saving ideas.  1. Use the reward systems that are already in place within the things you already pay for!  This tip is something that in the past I have been so totally shit at, it wasn't until very recently that I even joined up to 02's airtime rewards and I have been with them for years. This is the perfect example where each month I pay my phone bill and never save any money, this reward however gives me the opportunity to now save money on my phone bill just by shopping at the places I already do. I buy things in places like Boots as an example and o2 have hundreds...

The New Found Potager

Happy Tuesday  Everyone and welcome to my garden.  Today I wanted to create a post for you to share one of the little luxuries in life that I now enjoy the most, my garden! If you'd have told me a year ago that I would have been writing that I probably would have never believed you and maybe laughed a little. I have always been the kind of person in previous years to say "stick some faux grass down and keep the garden paved and plain, the less fuss the better".  That however was in my old house where my garden was the size on a postage stamp and I felt really uninspired. If I am being truly honest and reflecting inwards the garden space in my old house could have been really beautiful and I could have created one of those awe inspiring tiny gardens but that was a house I had from a past relationship that I was desperately trying to leave and I invested very little time and energy into it as it was a place I was desperate to escape and so I treated it as such, poor ...

Create A Budget & Stick To It This one will be obvious to any of you that read my most recent budgeting post so I will keep this short and sweet but the first step in saving money is to know where your money is going. If you want to use my budgeting spreadsheet you can find it on this post by clicking  here. 2. Budgeting Tips - My Financial Self Care

My Budget Spreadsheet    Click the above link to make a copy for yourself! 1. Have A Budget!   I feel like we have all been in the position at one point in our lives  where  we have looked at our bank account and thought, 'where has all of my money gone?' or had the feeling you get on payday, where you see your money coming into your account and then leaving just as fast and this can feel very overwhelming, especially if you don't have a clear idea of where your money going or when it is going to be going.  In order to combat this feeling I have taken inspiration from lots of different budget trackers over time and created my own simple version that I can control and amend as I wish. This budget tracker allows me to list and categorise all of my earnings, my outgoings and my savings so I  have a clear picture of what is happening with my money. There is also a section on my budget track...
