Beauty Pie - Super Healthy Skin Hot Oil Double Cleansing Balm Review

Happy Monday Everyone

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and are starting your week feeling rested and motivated to take on whatever this week may have in store for you. Today I have another Beauty Pie review that I am really excited to share with you all. This next product is a cleansing balm named the “Super Healthy Skin Hot Oil Double Cleaning Balm”, now, you will probably know that most luxury skincare brands have a cleansing balm so for many of you who may be skincare lovers you may have tried quite a few different cleansing balms in your time and I think that is why I gravitated towards this product as one of the first from the brand that I wanted to try, as I felt like I had a lot to compare it to.

As you will be able to see, like all of the Beauty Pie products, the packaging is simple but effective and would look wonderful in any bathroom which is great when you are looking to keep your space aesthetically pleasing. For me the most important thing I look for in a cleansing balm is it's ability to make me feel like I am having a really good pamper at the end of my day. As a thirty three year old full time working mum I find that my time in the day is so precious which means when I get a little time to myself in the evening, which isn’t very often, it will normally be spent looking after my skin and doing everything I can to give myself a bit of a pamper.

The Beauty Pie Balm in texture and consistency for me a would be comparable to the Elemis pro collagen cleansing balm but it certainly does have it’s own specific qualities that set it aside from other well known cleansing balms. Unlike other Cleansing Balms this product is completely unscented and therefore great if you have sensitive skin or skin that is prone to breakout when using heavily scented products. For me I do normally love my cleansers to have a very spa like scent but this one although unscented has something different. It has a lovely warmth when applied and massaged into dry skin which gives a real nod to a hot oil spa massage and makes you feel like this part of your cleansing routine is a real treat. This is the perfect product to use when giving yourself a really good facial massage and when you want to take a bit of extra time to massage the product into your skin.

The hot oil cleansing balm works hard for you instead of you having to work hard at removing make up and although my make up is completely gone after one cleanse, it feels so nice that I always do a double cleanse and really massage it in. This cleanser kept my skin soft and clear over the last six weeks of using it and I know it will stay in my skincare routine for a very long time to come and at £14 in comparison to the average cleansing balm at £45, who could say no?

Let me know if you have tried the cleansing balm and if you have what did you think of it and also what are the results you have seen.

Have a great week everyone!
